Individual Therapy
in person in Greenville, SC and online across South Carolina and Florida
You've read the books. Listened to the podcasts. You've learned about boundaries, attachment, nervous system regulation, and maybe even trauma. You understand your patterns intellectually—but when it comes time to actually respond differently, it still feels impossible.
You find yourself saying things like:
Why can’t I just get my shit together?
I know better... so why can't I change?
Why do I still feel responsible for everyone else?
Why does this keep showing up in every relationship?
If that sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.
Often, the missing piece isn't trying harder. It's becoming the secure attachment figure for the parts of you that are still surviving. This is what I call inner child healing.
Helping you move beyond survival mode.
Therapy That Goes Beyond Insight
Insight can explain your patterns.
Healing changes them.
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, successful, and incredibly self-aware. They've spent years trying to think their way out of survival mode, only to discover that insight alone doesn't create lasting change.
My work integrates attachment science, inner child healing, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and parts work to help you move beyond simply understanding your story. Together, we'll explore the experiences that shaped your protective strategies, build a more compassionate relationship with the parts of you that learned to survive, and create new ways of relating—to yourself and to the people you love.
Healing isn't about becoming someone different.
It's about helping the parts of you that have been working so hard finally realize they don't have to carry everything alone.
Is This You?
You might benefit from therapy if you...
Feel responsible for everyone else's emotions.
Struggle to set boundaries without guilt.
Find yourself masking, being who people expect you to be rather than who you actually are.
Constantly overthink conversations.
Have a hard time relaxing, even when everything is okay.
Find yourself avoiding conflict even if it means burying your own needs.
Long for deeper, more authentic relationships.
Understand your patterns intellectually but still feel stuck.

My Approach
One of the biggest differences in the way I approach therapy is that I don't see your symptoms as the problem.
I see them as brilliant adaptations.
Over the course of your life, your mind and body have been doing exactly what they were designed to do: help you survive.
For some people, that meant surviving physical danger. For others, it meant surviving relationships—learning to keep the peace, make other people happy, stay small, or become the responsible one because their relationships felt unpredictable or unsafe. Sometimes it meant figuring out how to belong, earn acceptance, or avoid rejection. Other times, it meant finding ways to cope with emotions that felt too overwhelming to carry alone.
Whatever form they took, your anxiety, people-pleasing, perfectionism, emotional shutdown, overthinking, or need for control didn't appear out of nowhere. At one point, they served a purpose. They helped you get through something.
The problem is that those protective strategies often keep doing their job long after the danger has passed.
That's why I don't believe healing comes from fighting your symptoms or trying to force them away. The goal isn't to "white-knuckle" your way into becoming a different person. It's to understand why those protective patterns developed in the first place, appreciate what they were trying to accomplish, and help them discover they no longer have to work so hard.
That's where real healing begins.
My work is rooted in attachment science and integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), parts work (IFS-informed), somatic approaches, and trauma-informed care. Together, we'll look beyond the symptoms to uncover the root causes that shaped them, helping you create lasting change—not just temporary relief.
What to Expect
Schedule A Free Consultation
We'll start with a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation. This is a chance for you to share a little about what's been going on, ask any questions you have, and determine whether I feel like the right fit for your needs. Finding the right therapist matters, and I want you to feel confident moving forward.
Begin Your Therapy Journey
If we decide we're a good fit, we'll schedule your first session—in person at my Greenville office or virtually if that's more convenient. I can see clients virtually throughout SC and FL.
Our first few sessions are about getting to know you, understanding your story, and identifying the patterns that have shaped the way you relate to yourself and others.
Deeper Healing
Many of the patterns you struggle with today began as ways your younger self learned to survive. Together, we'll build relationships with those younger parts, helping them feel safe enough to let their guard down. This is what I mean by inner child healing.
